Laughter echoed across the playground as campers raced across the soccer field, conquered the monkey bars, and eagerly lined up for another turn down the slides, embracing the simple joys of another summer camp morning. 

Each summer, Rexdale Women's Centre offers a supervised, fun-filled Summer Camp for children, tweens, and teens. Through a variety of recreational, educational, and creative activities, campers build confidence, develop independence, strengthen social skills, and form lasting friendships.

At RWC, students are given the chance to contribute meaningfully to various programs and initiatives. We work with about 75-100 students each year to help facilitate our programming. Whether you’re studying social work, community services, or administration, our placement opportunities are tailored to help you build essential skills while supporting our mission to foster an inclusive and thriving community.

At the Rexdale Women’s Centre (RWC), we are privileged to work alongside many newcomers to Canada and to hear the powerful stories they carry with them. Each individual brings unique experiences, dreams, and challenges as they navigate life in a new country. We are honoured to walk beside them, not only during moments of struggle but also as they celebrate their achievements. Finding a sense of belonging in a new society is not an easy journey. Immigrants and refugees show remarkable courage and resilience as they face language barriers, cultural adjustment, economic hardship, and emotional stress.
