Why Your Support Matters Now
Rexdale has one of the highest newcomer and immigrant populations in Toronto, with many families arriving with limited English and facing significant socio-economic barriers. The community experiences higher poverty, unemployment, and housing instability rates than the city average.
To help our community thrive, we need to meet the growing needs head-on. Unlike organizations with a narrower focus, the Rexdale Women’s Centre supports women and families across generations. From settlement and employment to youth and seniors’ programs, and violence prevention, we offer a wide range of services designed to empower every member of our community. Delivered in 19 languages, our programs reflect and celebrate the cultural and linguistic diversity of our community.

Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity that encourages people to give back to their communities. On this day, we are focused on raising funds to open a new art therapy center that will provide creative healing and support for those in need.
-
GivingTuesday donations go straight back into the programs people rely on. That means funding for supplies, snacks, materials, field trips, and all the little things that make the programs meaningful, welcoming, and accessible.

GivingTuesday is on December 2nd this year.
