Direct Service Workers Webinar - Resources and Training Review

RAP centre direct service staff offer an important level of support at a key contact stage for identifying crucial coexisting issues such as intimate partner violence. The project has developed a number of tools to enhance their capacity to effectively respond to refugee women and their families.

This 60-minute webinar for direct service providers will provide:

  • An understanding of the primary best practices (dos/don'ts) relevant to their work with refugee women
  • Important considerations and key strategies for speaking to men who have used violence in their intimate partner relationships
  • An overview of supplemental resources and tools available to support responsive service delivery (ex. Online training, cultural competence, etc.)
